Albania - USA, joint drone exercise in Zall-Herr

Members of the Albanian Armed Forces, along with soldiers and aviators from the New Jersey National Guard, took part in a joint training exercise.
The football field in Zall-Herr was turned into a drone landing pad. These drones, used for more than just military operations, could also play a crucial role in monitoring and controlling wildfires.
Also present at the exercise was the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy, Ms. Van Horn, who observed our teams working together—piloting drones and training alongside the mortars unit of the Albanian Armed Forces.
This exercise highlights the strong partnership between the Albanian Armed Forces and the U.S., reinforcing our shared capabilities and readiness to tackle common challenges.
