Deputy Defence Minister Blerina Abrazhda visits Pejë, meets with KFOR Troops

Deputy Defence Minister Blerina Abrazhda visited Pejë, where she met with Albanian Ground Force troops serving with dedication and professionalism in NATO’s KFOR mission.

During her visit to the NATO base, she held a meeting with the base commander, Colonel Francesco Errico, thanking him for his leadership and ongoing support of the Albanian contingents deployed in KFOR, Pejë. Colonel Errico, in turn, praised the Albanian troops for their discipline, dedication, and professionalism, calling them a model of excellence in fulfilling operational tasks according to NATO standards.

Marking International Women’s Day on March 8th, Deputy Defence Minister Abrazhda also met with women soldiers and female members of the Albanian Armed Forces contingent. She congratulated them on their commitment, professionalism, and strength, highlighting their irreplaceable role within the Armed Forces and in international missions. She emphasized their leadership, high military skills, and unwavering dedication, reaffirming the Defence Ministry and the Albanian Government’s full support for all Albanian Armed Forces contingents serving in NATO, EU, and UN-led missions.

Concluding her visit, she met with the four Albanian Armed Forces contingents deployed in Pejë, expressing her gratitude for their service and dedication. She thanked all Albanian military personnel for their unwavering commitment and for proudly representing their uniform and national flag in every mission they undertake.
