The Joint Declaration on Defense Cooperation between Albania, Croatia, and the Republic of Kosovo was signed in Tirana. The document was formalized by Albania’s Defense Minister, Pirro Vengu, Croatia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Ivan Anušić, and Kosovo’s Defense Minister, Ejup Maqedonci.

The cooperation aims to strengthen the defense capabilities of the three countries, advance defense industry and technology, and enhance military interoperability in the region.
This strategic development reflects the close alliance between the three nations, bound by history, shared sacrifices for freedom, and a common vision for a secure future.
“We share a common assessment of the threats in an increasingly fragile security environment. In this context, our commitment to developing our defense capabilities is stronger than ever.” - Minister Vengu emphasized.
Furthermore, Albania and Croatia will work closely to align political stances in support of Kosovo’s full integration into regional and Euro-Atlantic structures.
Ministers Anušić and Maqedonci recognized the agreement as a significant step toward enhancing regional security and stability, as well as strengthening capabilities to address common risks and challenges.
