Civil Emergency operations

The National Civil Emergency Operations Center reports 5 fire sites, of which 3 are active and 2 are under monitoring:

- Ternovë, Zerqan administrative unit, Bulqizë municipality: The fire is under monitoring by personnel to prevent reactivation from burning dry branches.
- Kulumri and Lumi i Trunit, Fushë-Arrëz municipality: The situation is being closely monitored. A morning reassessment showed no active flames, but 50 Armed Forces personnel, divided into two groups, continue to work on full containment and extinguishing remaining burning branches. The situation is currently calm.
- Bërzhitë Mountain, Ibë and Durisht villages (Bërzhitë and Petrelë administrative units): Located in very remote, difficult terrain, the fire poses no risk to homes or forests.
- Damjan and Isufaj villages, Tirana, spreading to Pezë-Helmë since 13 August 2025: Fire remains active in several small spots, which are under continuous supervision until fully extinguished.
- Gërmenj Natural Park, Leskovik administrative unit, Kolonjë municipality: The situation is calmer thanks to operational forces and recent rainfall yesterday afternoon.
