The three-week mission against wildfires in Albania ended; Minister Vengu thanks the UAE Troops

Troops from United Arab Emirates have concluded their three-week mission in Albania to fight wildfires: 72 troops and two Black Hawk helicopters carried out dozens of air and ground operations, assisting Albanian Forces in extinguishing and isolating fires in various areas of the country.

During the send-off troop ceremony, Defense Minister Pirro Vengu expressed his gratitude for this invaluable contribution, praising the professionalism, solidarity, and close cooperation between the two countries.

"This commitment by the United Arab Emirates is proof of a friendship and partnership that goes beyond words. Thank you for your help in protecting the lives of citizens and our nature", - Minister Vengu stated in his message.
