Minister Vengu at the Security and Defence Innovation Center: Innovation at the Core of Defence transformation

Defence Minister Pirro Vengu visited the Security and Defence Innovation Center (SDIC), where discussions focused on the next steps in implementing the national strategy “Defence 2030.”

During the meeting with SDIC staff, Minister Vengu emphasized the importance of integrating Artificial Intelligence as a key tool for synthesizing information and advancing the technological development of the Armed Forces at every level. The discussion also highlighted the need to support the defence industry through smart and innovative technologies.

“Innovation lies at the heart of our vision to transform the entire Defence constellation into an intelligent mechanism and a driver of modernization.” - said Minister Vengu.

The meeting reaffirmed the Ministry of Defence’s commitment to advancing modern technologies and building a more efficient, adaptive, and future-ready defence system.
