Three new generals join the leadership of the Armed Forces

 

A ceremony marking the promotion of three new generals of the Armed Forces was held at the General Staff Headquarters.

By decree of the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, the senior rank of Brigadier General was conferred upon Colonels Razije Mehmeti, Fatmir Neziraj, and Edmond Voci, in recognition of their contribution to the leadership and development of the Armed Forces.

The ceremony was attended by Defence Minister Pirro Vengu, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Arben Kingji, as well as other senior military and civilian officials.

Minister Vengu stated that the leadership ranks of the Armed Forces are being strengthened with the addition of three new generals, who represent three distinct career paths within the force and exemplify professionalism and dedication to the uniform and to the Homeland.

He wished them success in their new responsibilities, emphasizing that through their commitment they will add value to the force and serve as an inspiring example for younger service members.

The promotion of the three generals is considered an important step in strengthening the leadership capacities of the Armed Forces and in advancing the ongoing process of their modernization.
