Munich Security Conference: Albania strengthens its commitment to collective defence

The Munich Security Conference continues to stand as one of the most important international forums, bringing together leading voices in security and shaping the strategic debate at a challenging moment for Europe and the Euro-Atlantic order.

As part of his participation in the Munich Security Conference, Defence Minister Pirro Vengu held a series of meetings with his counterparts from Allied and partner countries. Discussions focused on current security challenges, strengthening partnerships, and further coordination within the framework of collective defence.
During the visit, the minister also met with senior representatives of major international companies in the fields of defence and innovation to discuss opportunities for cooperation and concrete interest in developing Albania’s defence industry.
The conference provided an important platform to advance national interests and to further strengthen Albania’s role as a reliable and active partner within Europe’s peace and security architecture.
