Minister Vengu on official visit to Hungary, first stop focused on Innovation and the Defence Industry

Hungary is demonstrating that sustained investment in innovation and the defence industry generates real capabilities and strategic value for Central Europe.

As part of his official visit to Budapest, a meeting was held at the headquarters of Pro Patria Electronics, a company renowned for its expertise in radar technology and systems for the protection of critical infrastructure. During the visit, the delegation was introduced firsthand to the company’s technological capabilities and its industrial development model.

The purpose of the visit is to integrate Albania’s defence industry into the supply and innovation chains of allied countries, with the aim of building sustainable, reliable, and fully interoperable capabilities to strengthen the Armed Forces.
