Defence Minister Nufi visits the Support Command

Nufi: “We will continue to invest in logistics, infrastructure, and Human Capital”

During a visit to the Support Command, Defence Minister Ermal Nufi highlighted the unit’s vital role in supporting all operations and emergency response missions carried out by the Albanian Armed Forces.

Minister Nufi reaffirmed the Ministry of Defence’s commitment to increasing investment in logistics, infrastructure, and human capital, with the aim of further strengthening the operational capabilities of the Support Command.

He emphasized that these investments are essential to enhancing disaster risk reduction capacities, improving operational readiness, ensuring an effective response to civil emergencies, wildfires, and humanitarian operations, and providing timely assistance to citizens whenever needed.

The Minister noted that strengthening the Support Command remains a strategic priority in building a modern, resilient, and responsive Armed Forces capable of addressing both national and allied operational requirements.
