Prime Minister Edi Rama, Defence Minister Ermal Nufi, senior military leaders, international partners, and the school's first 25 cadets attended the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the event, Minister Nufi said the new school represents a strategic investment in people, technology, and operational readiness.

“This is not simply the opening of a new educational institution. It is the creation of a strategic capability that will help shape the future of our Air Force and strengthen Albania's contribution to NATO's collective defence." - he said.

The training programme will follow NATO standards and best practices, preparing future pilots and air traffic controllers through modern curricula and advanced flight training.
