In a post shared on social media, minister of Defence Ermal Nufi published footage from the construction site of Guna Tactical, where one of the most significant public-private partnership investments in Albania’s defence industry is taking shape.

“Yesterday, the Prime Minister featured the Guna Tactical construction site in his overview of activities in Pogradec. Guna Tactical will manufacture military clothing not only for Albania, but also for countries across the region and beyond." Minister Nufi said in his video message.
According to Minister Nufi, more than 290 people are currently employed in this industry, and that figure is expected to exceed 1,000 once the facility is fully operational.
Minister Nufi also emphasised the project’s contribution to employment:
“We are proud that this industry not only generates revenue, but also creates jobs and makes a positive impact on the community every day.”
Guna Tactical was established as a joint venture between the state-owned company KAYO and the private company MSSC. Its core activities include the design, manufacture, marketing and export of military uniforms and accessories, primarily for the Albanian Armed Forces, other security institutions, countries in the region and NATO allies.
