Minister Kodheli hosts Iftar for peacekeepers’ families

The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, with the approach of the closing of the glorious month of Ramadan, hosted today Iftar for the families of the militaries in peacekeeping contingents serving in the framework of NATO Alliance in Afghanistan.
At the dinner were invited members of the families, children and wives of the military personnel in peacekeeping missions.
On this occasion, Minister Kodheli, said: “For all those who fast, I pray to have an easier fast at the end of this month. I highly respect the sacrifice of all those who during this month have been an active part of Ramadan. May your fast be easy. I hope so much, as we are gathered together Muslims and non-Muslims, to be together, because our way is the one and only, better than the one we have left behind, because it should be like this.” At the end of her speech, Minister Kodheli emphasized that our effort, of the children, of your brothers, sons, daughters and your fathers will never go awry.
Earlier Minister Kodheli, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo and the other participants, via a videoconference, held a conversation with the military personnel of the peacekeeping contingents serving in missions in Afghanistan.
