The application process for soldiers / sailors active to Armed Forces has been closed. Due to this fact, Defence Minister Mrs. Kodheli has had a conversation with all the boys and girls that have applied to join the Armed Forces.
In the beginning of her speech, Minister Kodheli spoke to the applicants about the importance of education and training, especially for young people. “You will not have the ability to become those who you think you can be if you don’t get educated and trained properly. In this case there is no chance for people who believe in their abilities, an example of them should be all of you, not to succeed in your goals.
Thus for a very simple reason, your young age makes it possible because of the belief that you should have in yourself to be assisted by structures that act towards you, who are honest with you and you put you in a competition, which will bring not only the best among you, but also the best you have within you. Because you do not know, the endeavor you have, the nerve, your desire to make a career, your desire to serve, to have more self-esteem, your desire to learn, to study more, to be trained in order to be better prepared physically. So this is a very important and decisive moment in your life. "- Said Minister Kodheli, who was pleased because of the high number of young men and women that have applied this year to join the Armed Forces.
Minister Kodheli assured the applicants for the hospitality, but most of all for a fair testing process of testing competition.
"We are here to ensure you that our hospitality is the same way as you perceive it in your families, because we are a big family that welcomes anyone who wants to accede to the Albanian Armed Forces, to serve the country, family, his residence and his career. But at the same time we assure you that the process will be fair and correct and the best of you may be part of the elite of this society, such as AF. I see some girls among us; in this case I would like to say that will have no favoritism regarding the test which is the same even for boys and girls. All tests physical, mental, knowledge test will be the same regardless the gender. "- Concluded in her speech Minister Kodheli, who gave her best wishes to all applicants for their first testing phase on physical and intellectual test.
During the recruitment campaign that lasted about 3 months have completed their registration 960 applicants of whom 49 were girls. Also 49 of them have completed higher education.
The physical and intellectual test will start today march 2, and is expected to finish on March 18.
