Ends up the destruction of ammunitions in Klos

Sapper forces of Support Command and EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) company finished the destruction of ammunitions stored in the tunnels of Klos. The AAF tunnels in the municipality of Klos were contaminated and cemented as a result of the incidents and explosions that occurred in 1997.

By the exploded and unexploded ammunitions, these groups - warehouses became a real threat to the civilian population. Because of the depreciation and rust, explosive chemical processes and reactions can occur at any moment.

Despite the very high cost, the Albanian Armed Forces removed these tunnels from the map of "hotspots". These objects are very near to residential areas, and today we deliver them to community clean and safe, so far as is required for the private activities.
