Minister Kodheli in Burrel campaigning for new recruitments in AAF

In the context of the recruitment campaign for active soldiers/seamen in the Armed Forces, Defense Minister Mrs. Kodheli, held a conversation with high school graduates "Pjeter Budi" and "28 Nëntori" in Burrel. The aim of the event was to sensitize and inform young people about recruitment and becoming part of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.

In this conversation with high school students, Minister Kodheli mentioned current commitments of the AAF in the country and abroad. She said that she considers AAF as a big family, which has room for every kind of profession.

Minister Kodheli said that this is an area that has grown capable military men who are recollected in generations; hence, joining the Armed Forces is the most direct way to serve the country.

She also spoke about the opportunities offered to young people to study abroad, where our soldiers have a commendable reputation.

Answering questions made by graduates, Minister Kodheli spoke about the advantages offered to a young person who manages to become part of AAF and the reasons why they should join the AAF. She also mentioned the career based on merit, training and study opportunities abroad as well as free health care not only for the military personnel but also for their families.

Minister Kodheli did not hesitate to explain to the students all the steps a young man or woman should take to join the Armed Forces, and invited them and their teachers to visit the nearby areas of the garrison "Skanderbeg" and the Museum of the Armed Forces there.

The campaign of applications for active soldiers / seamen in the Armed Forces, which has already started, ends on March 17, 2017.
