Albanian Armed Forces are constructing Osnat village road of Dardhas Administrative Unit, in the Municipality of Pogradec. It’s now several days that Military personnel and heavy vehicles of the Engineering Battalion of Support Command are working to build this road segment around 8.8 km long.

Specifically, the heavy vehicles of the Engineering Battalion are engaged in digging out the soils, drainage and arrangement of this segment.

Construction of this road, a request by the local government, is expected to significantly facilitate the movement of the inhabitants of this area, enabling a better communication with the cities of Pogradec, Prrenjas and Gramsh.

This operation of the Engineering Battalion will make it possible that, even though in a very difficult terrain, this rural road will not be blocked anymore by avoiding the isolation of these inhabitants in certain periods of the year.

This very important road segment for this area has a length of 8.8 km and apart from the inhabitants of the village of Osnat it will also facilitate the movement of the residents from the remote mountainous areas of the Nicë and Stërkanj villages of Dardhas Administrative Unit.
