On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Defence Minister, Mimi Kodheli hosted an iftar dinner for Muslim believers, part of Special Forces, Commando Forces and Military Police of the Armed Forces.

Accompanied by the Land Force Commander, Brigadier General Nazmi Cahani and the commanders of these three forces, which she regards as the elite of the Armed Forces, Minister Kodheli congratulated the believers for the sacrifice and wished them a light and acceptable fast. "This month, very important for you, it is a month that you demonstrate a strength of faith, character and will that ennobles you, and of course, as it makes better everyone who believes in you and in your strength. Let me express the best words for each of you, not just for your personal commitment, as part of the Armed Forces, and perhaps its best part, but with no doubt for the fact that you nourish in your spirit that belief that leads you to do good things, and inspires you to go ahead. Thus, let me wish a light fasting to all of them who are observing till the end of the month and let God accept it. I appreciate your sacrifice and wish that you will strongly be related to your belief, because it is one of the best things that can happen to a man in life, and it is what you are truly doing".

Minister Kodheli has established an annual tradition of hosting iftar dinner with believers of the Armed Forces.
