Recruitment campaign, Kodheli: The AF needs educated young people

 

In the framework of officer recruitment campaign, a recruitment promotion activity took place today.

The event was attended by the Minister of Defense Mimi Kodheli, Chief of General Staff, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku and the Commander of TRADOC, Brigadier General Manushaqe Shehu.

During this activity, the Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli addressed the participants talking about the opportunities offered by the Armed Forces for Career and Education in developed countries."We obviously require professions such as those of IT engineers, construction engineers because they are most needed, we need engineers, but of course we also need well-built, brave young men that we need to deploy to Afghanistan and wider, so we have a very wide spectrum", - said Minister Kodheli.

Minister Kodheli expressed her utmost appreciation for all the people in uniform and praised their devotion: "Even though I am at the end of my mandate, I will continue to support the Armed Forces with all my possibilities because I believe that they are absolutely the best part the of society, the most devoted, the least corrupted, the most committed and the most educated, and although not seen every day on the roads of Albania you should know that they are."

The deadline for submitting documentation to the PRC (Personnel Recruitment Center) is until September 20, 2017. To be selected as an active marine officer, the minimum eligible education is "bachelor". 

Recruited candidates will attend the New Officer General Education Course, at the Armed Forces Academy, Training and Doctrine Command, during the academic year 2017 - 2018.
