New recruitments in AAF, Xhaçka: We will improve the facilities for the military personnel

50 young people, among them 15 girls, today joined the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania. Candidates for officers will be part of the Troop School in Bunavi where for months 180 recruits will be engaged in the Individual Exercise of the Basic Training in the New Officer Training Course. After finishing the courses they will serve in different structures of the Armed Forces.
At their seeing off ceremony, Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, accompanied by Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Bardhyl Kollçaku emphasized that all kinds of facilities that concerns military personnel in the entire Armed Forces will be further improved in the years to come.
"Fulfillment of the constitutional mission of the Armed Forces in the service of the homeland obliges us to have capable and prepared persons both physically and intellectually, persons who know how to triumph over others and who believe they can succeed. Security challenges have now increased and become more complex. Internal and external threats and risks are countless. In this context, all of you candidates for new officers are expected to give the best of yourself, to master the program maximally, to be well prepared so that you will be able to cope with all the difficulties and become capable of successfully fulfilling every assignment that will be given during your career ", - said the Minister in a meeting with recruits and their family members.
The day before, the Defense Minister inspected the Troop School in Bunavi where 180 boys and girls are currently trained.
"You will be treated more worthily, to make it possible that our commitments, our goals will be better fulfilled every day. What we expect from you is readiness, sacrifice, hard work that will reward you, but above all will reward our common homeland, our country" - stated the Minister.
