Minister Xhaçka in Bestrovë e Vogël: Citizens complaints are our main concern

We cannot remain silent about the problems that the inhabitants have in Bestrovë e Vogël a village a few kilometers away from Vlora. Damaged road, lack of drinking water or the expropriation are issues that concern the families of this village. Many of them have written on the portal dedicated to citizens’ complaints in the framework of the co-governance platform.

During the visit in Trifon Çipa’s family, the Minister of Defense, Mrs. Olta Xhaçka, met with some of the residents from this village.

“The whistleblowers are becoming more frequent on this portal and I appreciate it very much. In fact this is a very good opportunity for us to contact all the citizens. In this new platform, co-governance with citizens is what you have done and what every citizen should do, is the opportunity given to us to recognize the concerns and problems and to address them. I want to assure you that it is a portal that will work well. There is a large group of people involved in the ministries, our staffs, including the MPs who will be all time ready to respond and address the problems that come through the portal, just as you did”, - said the Minister during the conversation with the residents.

Based on the Government priorities during this second mandate, the Minister assured the residents that the attention towards the villages and rural areas during this four-year mandate will be at the highest level.

“It is not easy to administer when there are few things left, but in four years we e have managed to be good administrators. The desire is immensely great to do much more than what we can do, but at least we are on the right track. Till now we invested in the cardinal things the cities, but now on we will deal with the villages. We will bring the urban development into the rural areas as well; we will do our best to resolve everybody’s problems. I want you to believe, we are doing all we can to be loyal to the things we promised and said”, - said among other things Minister Xhaçka.

Minister Xhaçka was accompanied by Deputy Minister Mr. Petro Koçi, MP Vullnet Sinaj, and Deputy Mayor of Vlora Municipality, Mr. Ardian Musta.
