Having lunch with Special Forces, Minister Xhaçka confirmed that Albania will continue to be represented in peacekeeping missions by sending a military group of the Elite Battalion to Afghanistan.

Until October 18, 2012, when the AAF completed its engagement as part of the ISAF, Albania engaged on mission in Kabul (Afghanistan) 440 militaries, acting as part of the contingent of the Turkish Armed Forces.
