The Government determines the criteria and the amount of financial aid for AISM employees

A civilian employee of the Agency of Intelligence and Defense Security is now more legally protected not only as an individual but also his family as well. This protection comes from the decision of the Council of Ministers "On the determination of the criteria and the amount of financial benefit in cases of death, illness or disaster for civil servants of the Agency of Intelligence and Defense Security". This decision that follows the proposal of the Ministry of Defense is part of the obligation to complete the legislation for the functioning of AISM.

The Council of Ministers Decision clearly stipulates that the civil servant of AIDS or his family, in case of death, serious and long-term illness or serious property damage, as a result of a natural disaster, receives immediate financial assistance. It even defines in details the amount of this benefit as well as the criteria on which this benefit is calculated: AISM civilian employee benefits for a period of 6 months the salary of the last month in case of death; for a period of 4 months the salary of the last month, when he is seriously ill and for a long time, confirmed by a medical report and for 3 months the salary of the last month, when one of his dependents dies or is ill for a long time and this is confirmed by a medical report. At the same time, AISM's civil employee benefits for a period of 4 months the salary of the last month, when it suffers serious damage to the property as a result of a natural disaster.

In the case of death this agency organizes the occasion ceremony and pays the burial expenses, according to documents justifying the expenses. In the meantime, the financial effects, resulting from the implementation of this decision, will be borne by the special fund in accordance with the legal acts in force. While the procedures and documentation necessary for the provision of financial assistance, pursuant to this decision, are determined by a sublegal act of the Minister of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense as the proposer of this decision that supports civil servants of AISM, will take all measures to implement this decision, as soon as it is published in the official journal.

The decision of the Council of Ministers on financial aid in the event of disaster, death or illness of civil servants of AISM is a legal requirement and obligation to assist civil servants, contributing to the good operation of this agency.
