Defense Minister Xhaçka visited the Burrel Regional Support Detachment, whose military members cope with Search and Rescue (SAR) operations, as well as Civil Emergencies in the districts of Lezha district and Dibra.

"I can say with great pride that we offer today what no one else can offer. We are those who, the AAF are those who intervene when everyone else surrenders, when all the others put their hands up because they cannot do anything in conditions of Civil Emergencies, when weather conditions cause isolation on some residential centers, which need our care and commitment to address them. AF do what local and central government cannot do; and our message is that we will always be by the side of the citizens on their most difficult day," - said Minister Xhaçka.

Even white coats in the Armed Forces will be close to the community, particularly in Health Centers where medical assistance is greatly needed, because of distance and rough terrain.

Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka was in the Health center of the Administrative Unit of Komsi (Burrel), where doctors and nurses in uniform in the Armed Forces assisted the medical staff.

“Doctors and nurses in uniform will be all the time displaced from one area to another to fulfill the needs where required. As we did here in Komsi, where we contributed with the necessary materials for the Health Center, so will we do in other centers, with the great desire to improve not only the quality of the service but also to support doctors and heroic nurses in these areas. We will be in every village to fulfill those indispensable needs, mainly in isolated and difficult areas of our country," said Minister Xhaçka, after meeting with the military members.

The Komsi Health Center serves 6.000 villagers. Doctors and nurses in uniform in the Armed Forces will continue to assist all areas to fulfill the needs for medical staff, as well as to contribute with the necessary materials.
