Ministry of Defence, the institution with the highest level of transparency in Albania, an IDRA Survey

The Ministry of Defence is ranked as the first institution in terms of transparency in the country. These are the findings of the survey on perceptions and experiences of citizens related to corruption in Albania . The survey is undertaken by the Institute for Development Research and Alternatives (IDRA). Respondents have ranked Ministry of Defence as the institution with the highest level of transparency in the country.

Albanian 2 -nd Company of 2 -nd Infantry Battalion, takes part in the Exercise “Anaconda – 16”

An Albanian company of AAF will participate in one of the largest NATO exercises in the last years. At Land Force Command at Zall – Herr, was held the departure ceremony of the Second Company of the Second Infantry Battalion, which will participate in the Joint - Exercise "Anaconda - 16" that will take place in Drawsko Pomorskie, Poland, on 7 - 17 June, 2016.

Today the Ministry of Defence celebrated the International Children’s Day on the 1st of June. The event organized under the auspices of Defence Minister Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, as well as in cooperation with primary schools in Tirana, Bar Association, and General Prison Directory this year was particularly dedicated to children of convicted mothers.

Kodheli: “This year we will increase the level of participation in Resolute Support Mission, Afghanistan. We are in the process of exploring and sorting out the legal base to support the efforts of the anti-ISIL coalition on the ground. We are closely looking for involvement in the NATO maritime operation in the Aegean Sea, to assist in the migration crises. It's time now for NATO to open a new page of structured dialogue and partnership with Kosovo.

Although the opposition media rush up to flap on the front page every abusive news, without verifying neither the news nor the source, although the news of a Greek newspaper referring that a vessel launched from Durrës was carrying weapons and captured in a Greek port turns to be completely fake, and although the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has nothing to do with this event, but in purpose of using every moment for making transparent the procedures that MoD follows, informs the public opinion as below:
