South East Europe Military Intelligence Chiefs' Conference, Koçi: Cyber-attacks, increasingly widespread, dynamic and clandestine

The "South East Europe Military Intelligence Chiefs' Conference (SEEMIC), in cooperation with the Defense Intelligence and Security Agency (DISA), and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), was held today in Tirana.

Present at this meeting, the Deputy Defence Minister, Mr. Petro Koçi said that: "Given our common history, our common culture and values as well as a common geostrategic position, Albania attaches great importance to SEEMIC, as well as our cooperation with NATO and the USA. By acting together sustainably, we contribute to peace and security in our part of the world”.

The AAF in action for extinguishing the fire in Përrenjas

The Effectives of the 2nd Infantry Battalion (b2kFT) and the Commando Battalion of the Land Force responded immediately to the request of the General Directorate of Civil Emergencies for the situation created by a powerful fire that has effected since the early hours of the morning, a forested area at Rrajcë village in Përrenjas.

The troops left Tirana at 04:00 AM and started immediately the operation for extinguishing the fire.

The promotion ceremony for the two generals is held, Xhaçka: Meritocracy and creating equal opportunities our non-negotiable priorities

The Romanian Parliament applauds Albania and appreciates its role as a factor of stability throughout the Western Balkans region.

Invited by her Romanian counterpart, Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka paid an official visit to Romania where she was received at a special meeting by Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă, Defence Minister Mihai Fifor, representatives of Romania's National Security and Defence Commission, while attending the plenary session of the Romanian Parliament.

The Albanian "Commando" effectives, part of one of the largest NATO Exercises

The effectives of the Land Force Commando Battalion are taking part in one of the largest training exercises organized by NATO in these decades.

Our commandos have joined the "Trident Juncture 2018" Exercise, which sees taking part 50,000 troops, 10,000 vehicles, 65 combat ships, 250 aircrafts from 31 NATO countries and partner countries. The training is taking place in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
