Celebration of Flower’s Day

In the framework of the World Environment Day, in the Ministry of Defence, the Centre of Culture, Media and Defence Publications, organized today an event entitled “Flower’s Day”, with the participation of the children of the militaries attending the art classes at the Recreation Centre, CCMDP.
Initially, the children of the art courses at CCMDP created floral collage in the main square.

Initially, the children of the art courses at CCMDP created floral collage in the main square.
The activity was opened by the CCMDP Director General, Mr. Jakin Marena. In his speech, Mr. Marena emphasized that, today is a beautiful flower day. This day is not only a celebration day, but it is also your commitment to maintain a beautiful and pure environment. “We hope that all together, leaded by you all, we will keep the environment clean, not only here, but also in the places where we live, giving the best example to all children of the country”, - finished his speech Mr. Jakin Marena.
Several certificates of appreciation were distributed to children of painting course later. Then, children and guests, invited at the event, planted numerous flowers in the garden near the main square of the Ministry of Defence. At the end of the activity, the participants visited the exhibition “Floral Pictures” with paintings of the children of the painting course.
