Celebration of the National Cultural Heritage Day

The Centre of Culture, Media and Defence Publications (CCMDP) organized today, at the premises of the Armed Forces Museum in the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), an activity on the occasion of September 29, the National Cultural Heritage Day. At this cultural activity attended the General Director of the Centre of Culture, Media and Defence Publications, the Academician Vasil Tole, Secretary General of the Academy of Sciences, the Academician Salvator Bushati, Director of Civil-Military Cooperation, Colonel Manushaqe Shehu, military personnel and employees of the Armed Forces, their families and many other guests.

The activity, dedicated to National Cultural Heritage Day, was opened by the Director of the Centre of Culture, Media and Defence Publications, Academician Vasil Tole, who after thanking all the attendees for the participation in this event, also highlighted the importance of the National Cultural Heritage Day for our Armed Forces.

During this activity, the children of the sports courses, at the CCMDP, demonstrated various popular games, as part of the Albanian cultural heritage, while the Wind Orchestra of the Armed Forces performed patriotic songs and marches, as the folk iso-polyphonic song, “Mbeç more shokë mbeç”, interpreted by the group of Skrapar, songs with lute played by Lumturie Nonaj etc. Then, at the TRADOC’s cinema was released the documentary film dedicated to Kamber Bënja and to the Martyrs of the Monuments, produced by the CCMDP. During the event, organized on this occasion, it was made the presentation of the book, the “National Anthem, musical scores”, published by CCMDP, a book, which was presented to the conductor of the Wind Orchestra, Mr. Altin Babameto and to the Secretary General of the Academy of Sciences, Academician Salvator Bushati. At the end of the event, the participants visited an exhibition, with pictures of castles and cultural monuments, and the premises of the Armed Forces Museum.
