The Directorate of the Community Relations and Activities

The Directorate of the Community Relations and Activities creates and realizes activities of artistic and cultural nature within the Armed Forces and the community within and outside the structures of the Ministry of Defence. This realization is performed via the production of ideas, drafting projects and programs with a cultural, artistic and formative nature within the structures of the Ministry of Defence, organization of the public events in cooperation with the Wind Orchestra of the Armed Forces. It also responds and collaborates with partners outside the structures of the Ministry of Defence for major state activities regarding dates and historical events associated with Ministry of Defence Another important aspect of this department is the realization of the recreating educational activities, for children, youngsters, consorts and member of the family that are on mission abroad and those who work in Albania.

 The Directorate of the Community Relations and Activities consists of the activities sector, the recreation sector and the Community Relations office.

Activities Sector

The activities department develops projects, programs of artistic and cultural nature within and outside the structures of the Ministry of Defence, organizes public activities in cooperation with all the consisting bodies or entities of the Ministry of Defence and the Wind Orchestra of the Armed Forces, organizes major state activities on the dates and historical events that are closely linked to Ministry of Defence.

Recreation Sector

This sector, which is a novelty in QKMBM, has the duty to provide variety cultural and entertaining products for children of all effectives of the Armed Forces (the military in active duty, those is reserve, civilian employees of the Ministry of Defence) planning, designing and drafting projects with artistic and cultural nature.
These children through various courses like the one of  music that consists of two branches Singing and Piano; that of the Visual Arts and Acting Course before receiving knowledge in these branches followed by the center’s instructors. The children attending the singing course  have participated at various festivals and concerts. There are opened exhibitions with the work of the children who are attending the course of visual arts. The children who are attending the acting course act in theatres as well as shoot movies.

- Organization of the activities of cognitive character for the prominent figures of the Albanian Armed Forces during the history.

- Staging of a children’s play with one act set outside in the open air by the coursists of acting and music courses on the occasion of 01 June. (01 June 2011)

- Wind orchestra of the Armed Forces tour in Kosovo. (June 2011)

- Wind Orchestra’s Concert of in South resorts, Pogradec, Durres. ( June 2011)

-Camping for children and youth of military families, "Qeparo-Youth Camp." (June-July 2011)

- Entertainment and training activities in holiday homes with children of military servicemen. (June-August 2011)

- Concert by the String Quartet and other wind instruments of WOAF in the hall of the Academy of Arts. (October 2011)

- Competition and the proclamation of the winners of the AF military personnel in the field of literature and artistic photography. (March-December 2011)

- Concert of Big Band and the organization end-year holidays and concentrated. (December 2011)
