Culture, Media and Defence Publications Center as well as AAF Museum
Mission
It fulfills the obligation of the Armed Forces to keep the citizens and members of the Albanian Armed Forces informed, helping to earn the trust of citizens in the Armed Forces in their operations in peacetime, conflict and war, educates the members of the Albanian Armed Forces with feelings of patriotism, civic virtue, values of freedom and democracy, and promotes the integration processes.
Directorate of Public Relations and Information
DPRI’s fundamental task is to realize in time and with transparency the information of the general public about the activities of the Armed Forces and Ministry of Defence, through media and Internet products, in order to improve the image of the Armed Forces and promotion of their contribution for the country’s and community’s benefit.
DPRI mission and tasks performed by its organizational structure are:

Directorate of Publications
Publications Directorate has the duty to publish periodicals of the Armed Forces and to prepare and publish annual series of publications in the field of defence and security. This directorate cooperates with its NATO counterparts, publishes materials on Armed Forces operations in peace, conflict or war time, and the AF commitment in cases of civil emergencies. It implements the Publications Platform adopted by the Minister of Defence. It publishes and reflects the policies of national defence and security of Republic of Albania and as well as AF contribution and achievements in serving the country. Criticizes the deficiencies found during the various field observations, promotes the participation of strategic and sectional experts in the “debate” on key issues, develop the necessary topics to realise the technical-professional updating of AAF, enhances within the military a greater recognition of initiatives and ongoing activities in different sectors. A special importance is given to topics that stimulate interest and involvement of young people with safety and security topics. It amplifies the knowledge on “military reality” outside the world of people in uniform.
The Directorate of the Community Relations and Activities
The Directorate of the Community Relations and Activities creates and realizes activities of artistic and cultural nature within the Armed Forces and the community within and outside the structures of the Ministry of Defence. This realization is performed via the production of ideas, drafting projects and programs with a cultural, artistic and formative nature within the structures of the Ministry of Defence, organization of the public events in cooperation with the Wind Orchestra of the Armed Forces. It also responds and collaborates with partners outside the structures of the Ministry of Defence for major state activities regarding dates and historical events associated with Ministry of Defence Another important aspect of this department is the realization of the recreating educational activities, for children, youngsters, consorts and member of the family that are on mission abroad and those who work in Albania.
Directorate of Sports Activities
The Sports Activities Directorate has the duty to organize and manage in cooperation with the General Staff sports activities, competitions, etc, in the Armed Forces, to develop and train teams of military representatives, in national and international activities with active personnel, children and their families. This directorate determines the priorities of sports disciplines, with priority on those disciplines that are applicable in the army. It also designs and conducts training programs of the representative teams and elite individuals, and develops training with sports specialists and trainers of the Armed Forces, for their professional development. It prepares lectures for military education institutions and organizes sports activities with central and local institutions and beyond. It collaborates and coordinates work with the Albanian Olympic Committee, sports federations and Ministry of Culture, Youth, Sport and Tourism. It propagates and informs through the electronic press media on the activities and sports results in the army, organizes and directs camps, excursions, marches of a cultural and sportive character, as well as trainings and grouped seminars in the country and abroad.
