Mission
It fulfills the obligation of the Armed Forces to keep the citizens and members of the Albanian Armed Forces informed, helping to earn the trust of citizens in the Armed Forces in their operations in peacetime, conflict and war, educates the members of the Albanian Armed Forces with feelings of patriotism, civic virtue, values of freedom and democracy, and promotes the integration processes.
Duties of CCMDP
- To ideate, publish and manage, high quality materials which are related to security, defence, politics, education, feelings of patriotism, civic virtue, values of freedom and democracy.
- To create a variety of information, cultural and entertainment products for all members of the Albanian Armed Forces and foreign audiences through all available media, including: exhibitions, press, radio, television, website and other modes of technology communication.
- To convey the messages of the leaders of the Armed Forces (Minister of Defence, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, the commanders of forces, brigades, as well as by other leaders), to promote awareness campaigns, and increase the awareness of the public regarding the Armed Forces.
- To provide the Albanian media with news, information, documentaries and public forums where fundamental issues of the AF are discussed.
- To provide the Albanian public with visual products with high quality, describing the activities and operations of the Armed Forces.
- In cooperation with the Educational Institutions of the Armed Forces to provide assistance to specialized training in the field of public relations.
- To organize cultural, artistic and sporting activities for the Armed Forces personnel, for their wives and children and foreign public.
- It should plan and organize musical, not protocol, public events of the Wind Orchestra of the Armed Forces (WOAF) to enrich the musical life in the country.
