Light Infantry Battalion Group, national capacity certified by NATO

The Light Infantry Battalion Group (LIBG), as a national capability, is certified by NATO for the readiness category "Combat Ready".

In the context of maintaining this readiness, but also further increasing capabilities, this Battalion Group conducted the deployment exercise codenamed "Arbër Shield - 25", in several regions of the country.

At the beginning of the exercise, the troops of the Battalion Group were also welcomed by the Defense Minister Pirro Vengu.

This deployment exercise of the LIBG precedes the preparations for hosting the NATO exercise "Defender 2025" in our country and participation in other NATO exercises: Immediate Response - 25, Suber Guardian - 25 and Swift Response - 25, in which the Land Force and the Light Infantry Group - Battalion have the main weight.
