The foundation of the Cyber ​​and Liaison Command furthers Albania's commitment to modernizing its cybersecurity infrastructure, confirming its increasingly active role regionally and within the Alliance in terms of cybersecurity policies.

The transition to Command Level will bring a number of advantages such as:

- Increasing the speed and coordination of response to cyber threats;
- Improving inter-institutional cooperation between the civilian and military components;
- Formulating and implementing sustainable and long-term strategies in managing cyber threats;
- Developing and implementing tactics, techniques, procedures and investments in cooperation with the US in increasing capacities;
- Deepening the knowledge and development of specialized skills of personnel.
