Albania's first "Master's Degree in Armaments Engineering," specializing in Aeronautics and Maritime

The new "Professional Master's Degree in Armaments Engineering" (Aeronautics and Maritime) program is a collaboration between the Ismail Qemali University of Vlora and the Armed Forces Academy (AFA).

During the ceremony, Minister Vengu emphasized that this collaboration represents an important step towards creating a new knowledge ecosystem, bringing together academia, the military industry, and security institutions. He linked this program to three other key projects in Vlora: the Vlora Airport, the reconstruction of the Aeronautics School, and the Bunavia Air Base.

The primary objective is to develop national capabilities for innovation, scientific research, and production in the defense sector, following the successful examples of EU and NATO member states.

The first 16 students in the program will acquire knowledge and skills that will serve to strengthen national capabilities in the fields of Aviation, Navy, and Military Technology.
