Albania-Italy Defense Cooperation Agreement Signed in Rome

Defense Minister Pirro Vengu and his Italian counterpart, Mr. Guido Crosetto signed the “Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Italy on Defense Cooperation”.

This agreement is expected to pave the way for new cooperation projects in the field of Defense, military training, exchange of expertise and coordination of efforts within the framework of Euro-Atlantic security.

Eight out of the sixteen agreements signed in Rome are related to the field of Defense, Military Industry and Civil Protection.

The partnership with Italy lay the groundwork for Albania to better integrate into the European industrial chain.
