Bushati and Xhacka in flooded Sub-Shkodra areas

Armed Forces close to residents affected by flooding in Shkodra

The Armed Forces continue to be engaged uninterruptedly in coping with flooding in the Sub-Shkodra area.
A team from Tirana's regional support battalion with sailing vessels and high traversability was sent in support of the first infantry battalion of Vau i Dejës.

In Dajç village, military of First Infantry Battalion (1stIB) urgently transported to the regional hospital in Shkodra a 27 - year - old man with health problems, who suffered a respiratory insufficiency and had an urgent need for oxygen.

Armed Forces involved in aiding the flooded low-lying areas of Shkodra

Albanian Armed Forces are being engaged for several days in coping with flooding situation in several villages near the banks of the Buna River in the Shkodra Municipality.

The 1st Infantry Battalion in Vau i Dejës is mainly operating in the village of Obot of the Administrative Unit of Ana e Malit in the Municipality of Shkodra. The high water level has made it impossible for city car class vehicles crossing the road that connects the village to the center of the administrative unit and the city.
