Rainfall situation in our country

According to the data received from the Emergency Response Preparedness and Coordination Directorate, in the Civil Protection Agency, last night rainfalls have caused problems in some regions of the country. The Civil Protection Agency has provided to the municipality of Shkodra high mobility vehicles and water vehicles. A high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle and AAF personnel are engaged in helping the residents in the unit of Ana e Malit, Obot village. Due to heavy rainfall in the last few hours, the main axis of this road has been blocked, making it impassable for small vehicles. In the meantime, the withdrawal of water continues on some land surfaces in Bërdica, Guri i Zi and Velipoja.

Defense Minister Niko Peleshi paid an official visit to the Alliance Supreme Command in Europe. He was received in a meeting by the Supreme Commander of the Alliance for Europe, General Christopher G. Cavoli, at the same time the Commander of the American Command for Europe.

In the meeting they discussed the actual security environment, the challenges on the eastern border of the Alliance, cooperation in the field of defense, our country's commitments within NATO, the strategic partnership with the USA, the development of AAF capacities and modernization.

According to the data received from the Emergency Response Preparedness and Coordination Directorate, in the Civil Protection Agency in cooperation with the prefectures, with the civil emergencies in the municipalities of districts and leaders of the Local Government Units, the rainfall situation today is quiet. Rivers are at their normal quotas, the road axes are passable, while the working groups continue repairing the damage caused on the ground.

The immediate intervention by the responsible structures, such as municipality ones, the road maintenance contractors or OSHEE, have helped in normalizing the situation quickly.
There is withdrawal of water on some surfaces in the municipality of Lezhë, Shkodër, Shijak, Krujë.
