New recruits start training to join AF, Peleshi: You have made the right choice!

254 boys and girls were selected to conduct the Basic Individual Training, before being commissioned to soldiers of the Albanian Armed Forces.
The young men and women were personally greeted by the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, and the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Bajram Begaj.
Pursuant to anti-COVID measures, the send-off ceremony took place with a very limited number of new recruits.
Flood situation in Shkodra normalizes, support for farmers continues

On the administrative units of Dajç and Ana e Malit in the municipality of Shkodra the water has completely retreated. This led to the withdrawal into their units of troops and vehicles of the 1st Infantry Battalion of Vau i Dejës and those of the Regional Support Battalion that helped the movement of the inhabitants for almost two months.
The National Civil Protection Agency, in cooperation with the prefect of the city, the municipality of Shkodra, and humanitarian organizations are still helping farmers affected by the floods.
Military Helicopter Pilot Course, Peleshi: A significant event for the Armed Forces

Part of future military pilots of the Albanian Air Force helicopters will be trained at home. On Farka Air Base began the Basic Officer Course on the specialty of Military Helicopter Pilot, which will be attended by lieutenants selected from various forces and units of the Armed Forces.
The initiation of this course was also attended by Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, who was accompanied by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Prof. Assoc. Bajram Begaj.
COVID-19, the Armed Forces will be engaged in the massive vaccination of the population

Doctors, nurses in uniform and the AAF logistics will be committed to mass vaccination against COVID - 19.
The news was announced by the Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, conveing the Government's intention and plan to vaccinate the entire population within 14 months.
Armed Forces clean the Korça former knitwear factory depots from chemicals

After the Saturday afternoon fire in the former knitwear factory depots in Korça, the Armed Forces intervened due to the burning of chemicals and the pollution of the surrounding area.
A team from Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction Defense Company, Ground Force, went to the site, identifying two different hot spots inside the building, which had caused the chemical reaction, and neutralized the hearths.
