“For the community, by the community” is the motto that drives the Armed Forces in their daily work.
This is best demonstrated by the commitment of the civil emergency personnel, and also by the occasional meetings with different age groups.
Such was the visit of a group of seniors to the Support Command, attending the social center "Let's Stay Together". Some of them came back to the environments, where they served for years as members of the Armed Forces.

Every year, Albanian youngsters are introduced with the opportunity of obtaining a profession in the Armed Forces. The boosting figures at the Personnel Recruitment Center show an increasing interes, especially this last couple of years, while all the interested find a good learning opportunity.

Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka received the new U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Albania Yuri Kim.
This was their first meeting here in Tirana, while they met last year in USA, as Mrs. Kim being part of US Secretary of Defense staff.
It was praised the US Ambassador Kim commitment in the Albanian USA partnership, especially in the field of Defence at the last Defence Minister’s post on Social Media:

As any beginning of the year, this one too, the military and civilian personnel of AAF joined the campaign to voluntarily donate blood in coordination and cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion Center.
This forenoon, in the premises of the Ministry of Defense Auditorium it was organized the opening ceremony, which was attended by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Manushaqe Shehu, Armed Forces Commanders, GS Directors, the Director of the National Blood Transfusion Center Kristo Raca, Deputy Director of this center Irena Seferi, as well as volunteers donors from the Armed Forces structures.

Special Force and Commando Courses come to an end. Xhaçka: New investments in Land Force, committed to a professional Army

49 young military members completed the Special Force and Commando courses, thus becoming members of the two elite units of our Armed Forces.
Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, at the special ceremony on the completion of the courses, considered our Commando and Special Forces to be as skilled as their colleagues from the most developed NATO countries.
