Armed Forces in any neighborhood of Tirana to monitor adherence to the rules imposed due to COVID-19

In order to raise citizens' awareness, enforce the recently imposed rules due to fighting the spread of COVID - 19 and to protect the health of every citizen, the Armed Forces have strengthened their presence on the streets in supporting the State Police.
Armored vehicles of the Land Forces are on the ground, equipped with troops of LF in every neighborhood of Tirana, distributed into different areas, to support the State Police in disciplining all citizens who do not comply with schedules and thus often create some kind of danger to the health of quarantined residents.

Measures against COVID-19, Armed Forces guarantee discipline in banks and supermarkets

Armed Forces in cooperation with State Police are present in every supermarket and bank between 6:00 - 10:00 AM and 16:00 - 18:00 PM to enforce the rules set as the country is affected by COVID-19.
Armed Forces and State Police are ensuring that citizens respect not only the advice of health specialists, and the schedules but also to keep the distance between each other.

Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka accompanied by the Director of the National Civil Protection Agency Haki Çako and effective from AAF went to Thumana, Shijak and Ishëm to distribute food packages to families in need.
Minister Xhaçka advised the residents, to abide by the rules set out to protect themselves against COVID-19.

The distribution of first food packages to retired householders and families in need begins. The first ones were the Thumana residents, the most affected by the earthquake on November 26, 2019. Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka has been monitoring the distribution of packages on the terrain during Tuesday’s late hours.
Whereas, today the distribution of packages has continued in Shijak municipality and other surrounding areas, where many residents due to isolation from the Covid-19 pandemic are unable to provide daily supplies.
