Ministry of Defense and UNDP on work to improve Disaster Risk Management System

The boosting of the Civil Protection System has long received the attention and commitment of the Ministry of Defense and the Albanian Government. Sazan Island is being cleared from dangerous ammunition

The Support Command of Albanian Armed Forces, in cooperation with the Navy and the Land Force, undertook yesterday the operation of clearing the island of Sazan from combat ammunition, deposited over the years on this island.
During the operation of the engineering forces, were detonated in accordance with the security protocol; unexploded ordnance, artillery shells of 120 mm, 130 mm and 77 mm.

Special Forces jointly with Air Force and Navy exercise in Pashaliman

The Pashaliman Naval Base was transformed for about two weeks into the largest training theater of the Armed Forces for this year.
Staff from four Companies of the Special Forces Battalion, backed by Navy ships and Air Force helicopters, tested and further enhanced their capabilities and capabilities to deal with a variety of situations that could threaten security and peace.
