US Support for Defence, Xhaçka: Gratitude for the main Albanian Ally

Millions of dollars of investment and hundreds of projects have significantly modernized the Albanian Armed Forces culminating in the upcoming NATO Air Base in Kuçova. The attention that the United States of America has displayed to Albania has been very significant in the last two years.
At a ceremony attended by US Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Leyla Moses Ones, Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka awarded Defense Attaché Office (DAO) and the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), the Medal of Appreciation, praising the US contribution in the Security and Defense.

Albania hosts the military exercise "Albanian Effort 19" with even greater involvement of Allied and Partner countries than before.
Troops and vehicles of the Armed Forces from Albania, the US, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Poland, Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia will train for one week in Biza base in order to test crisis intervention capabilities and to improve interaction among allies and partners in joint operations.

EOD Group neutralizes the risk coming from a buried shell arsenal in Manati Village, Lezha Municipality

Following the notification received by the Ministry of Interior, EOD Logistic Group successfully conducted an operation to neutralize the risk coming from 74 shells found in the backyard of a resident's home in Manati village, Kolsh administrative unit, Lezha Municipality.
The amount of shells of different calibers, dominated by 150 mm caliber-shell weighing 50 kg, were buried in that area for decades.

Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka: the 99% of fires during summer were intentional; everyone will face the severity of law

During July and August were recorded an unusual number of fires. The Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka, emphasized that there were 324 fireplaces in the country during this period.
The Minister, according to data, stressed that most of them were intentional fires; a reason why anyone who destroyed public property and endangered citizens lives will face the law.

Albanian Cadets graduated at Military Academies in Turkey

Seven Albanian cadets, among 325 young servicemen from 17 countries, completed their studies at Military Academies in Turkey.
Albanian cadets graduated in different specialties, completing successfully their bachelor and military training programs.
Three of them graduated from Land Force Academy, two from Air Force Academy and the other two from Naval Academy.
