Minister Kodheli pays an official visit in Austria

Defence Minister Mrs. Kodheli paid an official visit in Austria at the invitation of Federal Minister of Defence and Sports of Austria, Mr. Hans Peter Doskozil.
Minister Kodheli was pleased to visit in Vienna and expressed her gratitude for the support that Austria has historically provided to our country since the declaration of independence u, to the European integration process.
The focus of the meeting between the two ministers was cooperation in the field of defence, to this end they signed Bilateral Cooperation Plan in the field of defence between Albania and Austria for 2017, which foresees the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in training and education.
Sazan Island opens for tourists during summer season

Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Enterprise signed today a cooperation agreement which allows tourists to visit Sazan Island. Defense Minister Mrs. Mimi Kodheli and Minister of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Enterprise Mrs. Milva Ekonomi signed the agreement which aims to develop tourism and its promotion.
Skanderbeg’s headpiece placed at the garrison with the same name

On the 8th Anniversary of Albania’s Membership in NATO, the sculpture of the headpiece of our National Hero, Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg, a work of art by sculptor Dhionis Dukoli, was placed in one of the gardens of “Skanderbeg” Garrison. Defence Minister, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Brigadier General Dedë Prenga, the sculptor, Dhionis Dukoli, and military and civilians who work in this garrison were present in this event.
Ministers Kodheli and Bushati with students on Albania’s 8th Anniversary of NATO Membership

The Defence Minister Mrs. Mimi Kodheli and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ditmir Bushati held an open dialogue with the students of the Faculty of Social Science of the University of Tirana on the occasion of the 8th Anniversary of Albania’s Membership in NATO. Both ministers emphasized the importance that this membership has for our country, but also the obligations arising from it.
Armed Forces improve the infrastructure in the Mat village

Armed Forces have completed the work for the improvement of the infrastructure in some villages of the Administrative Unit of Komsi in Mat Municipality.
In Muzhakë village, the Armed Forces dug a drainage channel in order to avoid the annual flooding in a part of the village and agricultural land surrounding it. The channel, long 1,3 km, was clogged for almost 40 years was an early request of the inhabitants of this village and the Prefecture of Dibra.
At the completion of works there, was also present the Minister of Defence Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, that praised the work of the Armed Forces and the importance of the unclogging of this channel has for it residents.
