Defence Minister Niko Peleshi received in a meeting the U.S. National Guard Office, General Daniel R. Hokanson.During the meeting, they discussed the current security environment and challenges on the eastern border of the Alliance, the situation in the region and in Ukraine, cybersecurity, our country's commitments in NATO, as well as with a special focus on cooperation in the field of Defence with USA.
On the occasion of June 1, children of different ages visited the Farka’ s Air Base.
The multinational exercise "Defender Europe '23" concluded its activities in Albania. In the ceremony held on this occasion, in the Zall Herr garrison, Defence Minister Niko Peleshi assessed that this exercise, in addition to testing the elements of deployability and interoperability in response to crises, in a wide range of operations as well as the capabilities and potential of the host countries , transmitted a very powerful message, that of unity.
The joint multinational exercise led by the US European Command, "Defender Europe 2023", starts in Albania. During the opening ceremony, which took place in the Mother Teresa Square, the Defence Minister, Niko Peleshi, described Defender Europe 23 an exercise of great importance, where the Armed Forces of Albania feel proud that we participate after the complete success achieved two years ago, in Defender Europe 21.
Defence Minister Niko Peleshi visited Slovenia, at the invitation of the Defence Minister of Slovenia Marjan Ŝarec.
