The 42nd Meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Southeast Europe Defense Ministerial is taking place

On May 15, within the framework of the SEDM process, which is currently chaired by Albania, at the Ministry of Defense, through a video - conference, the 42nd Meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Southeast European Ministerial of Defense (SEDM - Ç) and the 43rd Meeting of the Political-Military Steering Committee/Multinational Peacekeeping Force of Southeast Europe (PMSC/MPFSEE).

These two meetings were held for the first time through a video - conference with the support of the SEDM portal as a result of the situation created by the global pandemic COVID - 19.

Minister Xhaçka praised the military doctors: Your work has been an extraordinary contribution

At least 120 doctors and nurses of various specialties, part of the Armed Forces, gave their extraordinary contribution in the midst of this pandemic. Military doctors and nurses at the Trauma Hospital were at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, identifying new cases of infection.

Since March, the Armed Forces set up triage tents outside the Trauma Hospital where after preliminary checks they detected patients with COVID-19 before being hospitalized.
