3 hours walk, AAF save the sick mother of two children in Kukës

 After 3 hours of walk, the Armed Forces managed to transport a 38-year-old woman to Kukës Regional Hospital, who was isolated because of heavy snow in her home in the village of Tejdrina of the Ujmisht administrative unit in the Kukës Municipality, in serious health condition.

Minister Xhaçka - to the military of Poshnje: Valuation based on merit and a more dignifying treatment


Evaluation and promotion based on meritocracy and a more dignifying treatment progressively for Albanian servicemen was the main message that Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka conveyed to the Infantry Battalion III (b3k) in Poshnje, during her stay in Berat, in the framework of government gathering in this district.
During her visit to the b3k, Minister Xhaçka was accompanied by the Defence Deputy Minister Petro Koçi and the Land Force Commander Brigadier General Nazmi Cahani.

Captain Feti Vogli at the “Hall of Valor” in Kabul

On the 6th anniversary of being killed in the line of duty, the nation martyr Captain Feti Vogli was also honored in the country where he died, in Afghanistan.
The photography and sublime work of Captain Feti Vogli were placed in the Hall of Valor in Kabul, among NATO soldiers killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan.

Xhaçka: NATO, the most reliable shield against any threatening aggression

At the premises of the Special Forces Battalion (bFS), was held today the 6th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of Captain Feti Vogli, who lost his life six years ago in Afghanistan.

The Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka further in her speech said that the work of the Martyrs is not forgotten, but it will be remembered and will be respected generation after generation and will be evaluated in the future for achieving the objectives.

Recruitments in the Armed Forces, Xhaçka: Improving gender equality a career based on integrity

130 youngsters are the current candidates for officers in the Armed Forces. For the coming nine weeks they will be part of the Individual Basic Training at the Troop School in Bunavi (Vlora). 

At the departing ceremony the Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka appraised the increasing number of young women and youngsters with higher education diploma who have applied and have been selected to be part of the Armed Forces.

The Defence Minister assured the newly students and their families that the Ministry of Defence will walk alongside with them in their new path, a beautiful course but full of challenges.
