Defence Minister Xhaçka pays an official visit to the United Kingdom: Training and education of the Albanian military leadership in UK

Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka had a two-day visit in the United Kingdom invited by of her British counterpart, Gavin Williamson.
During her stay in London, Minister Xhaçka also met with the Minister for Europe and the Americas, Sir Alan Duncan, the General Director of Foreign Policy, Richard Moore, and the Minister of State for Defence, Lord Frederick Curzon, who is also the Deputy Leader of the House of Lords.

Unexploded ordnance, Xhaçka: Within 2019 there will be no dangerous area in Albania

For more than 20 years, Suçi hotspot in Burrel has been one of the most dangerous sites due to unexploded ordnance.
The effectives of the Armed Forces Support Command EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Company, for more than 1 month provided complete clearance of this area.
The Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka during the meeting with the EOD field personnel stated that 84 thousand square meters of terrain certified, clean and safe have been returned to the community.
