Peacekeeping missions, 30 AAF effectives seen off by children

The departure ceremony of the 8th Contingent, which one left this Friday from Vau i Dejës to Kabul, Afghanistan was very special and exciting. The children of the1st. Infantry Battalion staff in Vaun Dejës were the special visitors. They celebrated June the 1st with the military men and transmitted a lot of emotions in the ceremony of seeing 30 military effectives to Afghanistan off.

In his greeting speech, Deputy Defence Minister Koçi congratulated the children and expressed his pride that the Armed Forces are everywhere ready and work hard for a better future for the children.

Minister Xhaçka visits SHAPE: More troops to send on NATO missions

Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka paid an official visit to the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE). She was hosted by Four-Star General Curtis M. Scaparrotti, Commander of European Command and Supreme Allied Commander, Europe.

The purpose of this visit was to strengthen Albania's cooperation and the Allied Command Operations (ACO) and discussion on the strong commitment of our country in NATO operations.

Education and training of new officers, Xhaçka: Coping with changes in the curricula of the AFA

The Armed Forces Academy (AFA) celebrated the 60th Anniversary of its creation. Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka, present at this event, explained that the mission of this academy will continue to be the preparation, education and qualification of military and civil senior staff specialists.
