Commemoration of November 17, Tirana’s liberation day

On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Tirana, the Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli placed a wreath at the monument of the Unknown Soldier, in Tirana. In the ceremony attended and also placed wreaths the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Ilir Meta, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, other ministers of the cabinet, leaders of the National Liberation War Veterans Organization, local authorities, etc.
In the framework of the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Homeland, in the premises of the Centre of Culture, Media, Publications, Museum and Holiday Houses (CCMPMHH), a special and very impressive event was held this afternoon. Under the direct auspices of the Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, an exhibition is opened with the most famous works of the Meritorious Painter and Grand Master of Work, Mr. Fatmir Haxhiu, while the exhibition hall at the Centre was given the name of this remarkable painter of our country.
The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli was invited at the “Luarasi” University to give a lecture on “NATO’s economic and legal challenges”.

The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli presented at the National Security Committee of the Albanian Parliament, the draft budget of the Ministry for the year 2015.
