Minister Xhaçka is invited to Pentagon, Ambassador Lu: We are investing in the future of AAF

The increase in the Defence budget and the new phase in Albania - US relations were the key messages of the Minister of Defense, Olta Xhaçka and the US Ambassador Mr. Donald Lu, during the handing over ceremony of 12 armored vehicles from the US Government to the Albanian Armed Forces. In his address, Ambassador Lu personally appreciated Minister Xhaçka for her work in the Ministry of Defense, and for that, he offered the support of the US government also, and announced to the Defense Minister the invitation to visit Pentagon.

A few miles from the town of Librazhd, more than 700 residents of the Spatharë village were again making preparations for the isolation caused by the cold winter. No minister of any political force has ever been seen in Selica village after the '90s. The Government determines the criteria and the amount of financial aid for AISM employees

A civilian employee of the Agency of Intelligence and Defense Security is now more legally protected not only as an individual but also his family as well. This protection comes from the decision of the Council of Ministers "On the determination of the criteria and the amount of financial benefit in cases of death, illness or disaster for civil servants of the Agency of Intelligence and Defense Security". This decision that follows the proposal of the Ministry of Defense is part of the obligation to complete the legislation for the functioning of AISM.
