Minister’s Kodheli official visit in Germany

Defence Minister Mrs. Mimi Kodheli is heading to Germany for a two day visit upon the invitation of her counterpart Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen.
In the meeting with the German Defence Minister Mrs. Von der Leyen, is expected to address topics related to bilateral relations and cooperation especially in the field of defence.
“Vlora Sarex 16” Exercise

Albanian Naval Force in cooperation with institutions interested in the maritime area held today in Vlora Bay the Joint Exercise "Vlora SAREX 16". Effectives of Naval Flotilla Pashaliman, that participated in this exercise, simulated the prevention of human trafficking and detained the human trafficking and their tools in the area of responsibility, as well as a simulated search and rescue operation (SAR) for tools that can suffer breakdown during the navigation.

It came to the end the administrative investigation, which was ordered by the Defence Minister, regarding the air crash of Albanian Air Force helicopter EC 145, board number 637, occurred on April 6-th 2016. The Defence Minister in accordance with the competencies provided by the law in force, on April 7-th 2016 ordered the setup of an administrative task force investigation on: "The crash of the helicopter EC-145" dated on April 6-th, 2016. The last deadline of this administrative investigation was on April 22-nd, 2016.
Adoption of the law on remission of obligations for the former servicemen

Parliament of Albania today adopted with 75 votes the law "On the remission of obligations that former servicemen have in the supplementary pension scheme, by the pension recalculation pursuant to Law no. 10142, of 15 May 2009, 'On the supplementary social insurance of servicemen of the Armed Forces.' as amended".
By this law will benefit 37% of former servicemen, to who is remitted 13 billion ALL, or 20% of their pension that was previously paid in the Social Security Institute.
It is being honored the memory of the last two martyrs before resuming training flights

The wives of Farka Air Base pilots held a ceremony to honor the memory of the last two Martyrs of the Nation, Captain Floran Delia and Lieutenant Donald Hoxha. In this activity which took the immediate support of Farka Air Base Command were also present the families of the two pilots who lost their life in the line of duty.
