Minister Kodheli, message of condolence for the victims of the “Malaysia Airlines” plane

Defence Minister Mrs. Mimi Kodheli expresses condolences to all the families who lost their loved ones in the crash of “Malaysia Airlines” plane. Mrs. Kodheli has sent a letter of condolence to her counterparts of NATO countries, who had victims in the “Malaysian Airlines” plane. In this letter Mrs. Kodheli writes: “I was deeply saddened for the disastrous crash of “Malaysian Airlines” plane on July 17, 2014.

Cooperation Protocols signed between the Ministry of Defence of Albania and the Ministry of KSF

Two protocols have been signed between the Ministry of Defence of Albania and the Ministry for Security Force of the Republic of Kosovo: the Protocol on Cooperation and Assistance in the field of regional and Euro-Atlantic integration, and the Protocol on Cooperation in the field of Education and Military Training. From the Albanian side, the protocol was signed by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Mr. Dritan Hila, while from the Kosovo side, it was signed by Deputy Minister for the Security Force, Mr. Muhamet Latifi.

Assessment of 300 day work of the Ministry of Defence

At the Ministry of Defence took place the assessment of 300 days of work since the creation of the new government.
In this important event attended the Deputy Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Niko Peleshi, the Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli, members of Parliament, generals, directors, senior militaries and civilians of the Ministry of Defence and General Staff, as well as representatives from the Armed Forces structures.

Defence Minister Kodheli invited to the celebrations of the 100-th anniversary of World War I

The Minister of Defence, Mrs. Mimi Kodheli took part today at the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of World War I. In this occasion, about 76 representatives of countries from the world travelled to France. On this remarkable day for the French people, in commemoration of 100th anniversary of World War I, the military parade, “A strong and modern army”, was held at the Champs-Eliysees Boulevard.

Among the many flags of different countries of the world, for the first time, the Albanian Flag marched in this parade, while Defence Minister Kodheli followed the military parade, being invited at the parade, amongst many of her counterparts, at the central tribune of this parade in Paris.
